There's almost no point even dreaming of success anymore unless you have a backer with the might of City's, or the pull of the tradition of a United or a Liv etc. I fear for football, I fear for my team.

don't agree with that
take Wenger’s Arsenal side from last year - did not cost a lot for the starting group….maybe 40 million pounds tops. Now imagine Arsenal paid Flamini what he was worth so he stays. And along with the switch of Nasri for Hleb you spend another 25 mill or so on Kompany, Albelda and say Van Der Vart - that team could win the title.
