Spurs v Aston Villa

After a seeming age, the lads will be back in action today taking on a tough to beat Aston Villa side. Remember it was this lot who nearly beat us 4-1 at home last year before a daft comeback to 4-4 -- it still proved to be a negative point against Jol in the race to keep his job.

I do suspect that this will be a very different game and am hoping that we have enough in the tank to win this one by the odd goal in three ie 2-1 to Spurs.

I suspect that we will line up with both Croats in the side - one at right back and the other -- as playmaker. I also think that the midfield and striker line up may be tweaked a bit. Pava may well start alone up front, Modric Dos Santos behind him and a midfield of Bale, Modric, Jenas, Bentley --  at home, with a solid back four that is possible. If I was picking the side I would play Modric behind Pava and a midfield of Bale, Hudd, Jenas and Bentley for this game. I'd look to introduce Dos Santos later in the game.

What do you guys think?

Another bad loss for Spurs. Now bottom of the table.

And the manager still refuses to speak to the fans or the media.
