Argentina v Brazil Open Thread
Well these two South American giants are battling away to see who will play Nigeria in the Olympic 2008 final. The first half has been a tough affair -- lots of challenges flying in from both sides and there is an edge to the game that may well lead to someone being sent off.
Kobe Bryant is among the audience watching and he will be impressed with the skill level on both sides. Messi has perhaps been closest to opening the scoring and we have also seen wonderful touches from Ronaldinho and Diego for Brazil.
Ronnie looks like he is having fun. Messi is also playing well so the second half should be fascinating.
The teams are back out after half time -- Brazil know that a top quality 45 mins sees them into the final with a real chance of winning their first ever Olympic title. Argentina need a big 45 mins to get to the final to try and defend their title.
By the way Maradona is in the stands as well!
