Now this rumor is a bit silly if you ask me. There are folks in the papers suggesting that Spurs will willingly swap Bent AND Robbo AND Big Tone for Mr. Bentley of Blackburn....come on folks you are having a laugh!

Seriously, Bentley is a good player -- a very good player perhaps -- and the fact that he is English makes his price go a bit higher for an EPL side like Spurs BUT that price is really over the top.

Bent may have been overvalued at 16 million pounds but if you combine reasonable valuations of these three you end up with Bentley being worth about 20 million pounds. (For those keeping track I'd say that Bent is worth 12 million, Robinson 5.5 million and Big Tone 2.5 million).

So what do you guys think about this Bentley rumor? Good idea or a total laugh from the media?
